I hope that you read my posting from May 15, 2008 to understand why I have gotten to this point…
Here is the information that I promised about what the HCG Diet is all about:
To start off, this diet protocol is based on research that was conducted in Europe in the 1950’s by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, M.D. into obesity and its cures. To get the detailsyou can pick up Kevin Trudeau’s book The Weight Loss Cure, it is from 2007 and I would recommend getting it from the library or on eBay, since you won’t need to refer to it once you get going on the program.
There are 3 stages to the diet, and I am going to be sharing the modified version that the doctor that I went to recommends. This is a little less extreme than Kevin’s program, and I think will be easier to follow.
Stage 1
Stage One is highly recommended, however it is not required for your success in the program. This stage will take about 30 days, and can be adjusted shorter or longer to fit your lifestyle. If you decide to participate in stage one, the benefits of this stage are heightened mental clarity which assists in alleviating depression, an increased energy level, an increased metabolism, decreased appetite along with decreased food cravings, potential weight loss, increased immune system, and an overall healthier feeling of self worth. This stage will help to accelerate the fat and weight loss in Stage 2 and make the whole protocol easier to complete.
Details of Stage One:
- Drink bottled spring water. Do not drink tap water as it is loaded with chlorine and fluoride.
- Walk at least 30 minutes to one hour per day.
- Eat apples. Eating at least 2 organic apples every day will help to regulate blood sugar, reduce appetite and increase cleansing of the liver, gallbladder and colon.
- Eat Grapefruit. Eating at least 2 organic grapefruits daily are proven to help release fat.
- Apple Cider Vinegar can be used on your salad and marinated on your daily proteins (organic beef, breast of chicken, and white fish). This stimulates metabolism and cleansing of the internal organs. It is also powerful in helping to release stored fat cells.
- Extra Virgin Raw Coconut Oil can be used for cooking. This stimulates metabolism, imporves digestion, and helps to release fat.
- Use Natural Sweeteners. Stevia is highly recommended. Use NO Artificial Sweeteners.
- Eat Breakfast. Eating breakfast helps to increase your metabolism, decrease appetite and increase your morning blood sugar for energy throughout the day.
- Eat 6 small meals per day (only in State One). This helps to increase your metabolism and release abnormal fat reserves.
- Eat salad with lunch and dinner. Eating a salad made with fresh vegetables helps to stimulate digestion and adds fiber which helps to regulate blood sugar.
- Eat 100% Organic Food. Processed food can make you overweight. Organic food does not contain preservatives, chemicals, flavor enhancers, herbicides, pesticides, growth hormones and antibiotics, all which can cause weight gain.
- Add Fiber. Fiber will help relieve constipation, reduce appetite, improve digestion, cleanse the body of toxins.
- Drink Organic Tea. It is recommended to drink Oolong, Chamomile, & Green teas throughout the day.
- Eliminate all carbonated beverages. They block calcium absorption, cause nutritional deficiencies and slow down digestion.
- Avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup. This is a man made highly processed sugar that has been designed to overtax the hypothalmus which can lead to obesity.
- No MSG (Monosodium Glutamate). This is a flavor enhancer which affects the hypothalmus and can make you overweight.
- No Fast Food!!
- Do a Colon Cleanse.
- Use 100% Organic Lotions, Creams, & Make-up.
Stage 2
During Stage Two of the HCG Diet, you will be taking a daily injection of HCG according to whatever is prescribed by the doctor and then following a very specific diet for 42 days. The following is the breakdown of how the diet works.
Day 1 and 2
- Take the HCG injection first thing in the morning.
- Eat as often asd you’d like throughout the day. This will increase your body’s fat stores to prepare you for the 500 calorie per day limit on days 3-42.
- Drink 1/2 to 1 gallon of bottled spring water throughout the day.
Day 3 thru 40
- Weigh yourself in the mornign when you wake up without clothing and after you have emptied you bladder.
- Take your HCG injection every day according to the prescription.
- Drink 1/2 to 1 gallon of bottled spring water throughout the day.
- You must eat EVERYTHING described below. Do not skip meals. Your total caloric intake will be 500 calories per day, which consist of protein, vegetables, and fruit.
Day 3 thru 42 Eating Plan
DRINK:
- Bottled spring water only, No tap water
- Organic black coffee, no creamer
- Organic green tea
- Organic oolong tea
- Organic chamomile tea
BREAKFAST:
- Drink plentyof tea and bottled spring water. You may have a fruit for breakfast but eliminate your fruit serving for lunch and dinner. We recommend only 2 fruit servings per day.
LUNCH and DINNER:
- Eat 100 grams, approximately 4 oz. of protein (about the size of palm of your hand).
- Use organic cooking spray or coconut oil (do not use butter or margarine)
- Organic grass fed beef, buffalo, veal OR
- Organic breast of chicken (skinless) OR
- White fish (tilapia, cod, halibut, chilean sea bass, sole, flounder)
- One cup of a vegetable – These can be eaten raw, steamed, grilled (without oil) you may use oconut oil or organic cooking spray. Have your choice of: Spinach, Asparagus, Green Beans, Cabbage, Brocoli, or Brussel Sprouts
- You may eat a salad with your meal. Just use organic lettuce, tomatoes, and celery with Apple Cider Vinegar Dressing that contains NO FAT
- DO NOT eat the same protein or Vegetable with lunch and dinner, you should very each meal in a given day.
FRUIT
- Eat one of the following with each meal: 1 Organic Grapefruit, 1 Organic Green Apple, or 1 handful of Organic Strawberries.
- You may choose to eat the fruit as breakfast or as a mornign or afternoon snack, do this in place of including it with the meal, you should eat 2 friuts a day.
